Headmaster Rev. Joon Kim of Elite Open School LRC Korea is currently pursuing his doctoral studies in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning (CSTD) at the University of Toronto. He also holds a Master's degree in Philosophy of Education from Yonsei University Graduate School.

Over the past decade, he has served as a lecturer, teacher, and administrator in various educational institutions, gaining hands-on experience in the practical workings of education. With his extensive background in operating international schools, he has provided mentorship and counseling for both students and parents.

He also served as the Secretary General of AKIS (Association of Korean International Schools) for five years, where he contributed to the innovation and development of educational systems across multiple schools.

As the founder of the RMRM Institute, a Christian education research organization, he is actively involved in creating a new paradigm of Christian curriculum and educational resources. Beyond the school setting, he serves as a pastor, passionately engaging with young adults through reading groups, humanities discussions, and Bible study.
